Construction Project Management

Construction Project Management is a sub-discipline of civil engineering that focuses on the execution of engineering and architectural design projects. It involves managing the design and construction process from the inception of a project all the way to, and including, the operations and maintenance of infrastructure and buildings. Construction management involves planning, budgeting, coordinating, and supervising construction projects from start to finish. As a construction manager, you may work on various construction projects, including buildings, roads, bridges, and other structures.
